After a thaw in the Midwest, the snow reared its flaky head once more and buried spring. It has been one of those days where you didn’t know whether to grab the shovel or the camera. It truly was one of the most beautiful snowfalls of the season. It just was so wonderful yesterday to finally have the mountains of snow melt to small hills. We’re hanging in there and they are saying that the harsher the winter the more magnificent the spring.
We just have to keep looking up. Even when the road is filled with twists and turns, there always will be one straight path before us soon. In every winter there will be blazing sunsets.
I hope you enjoy the photos taken today of my neighborhood as proof of how beautiful winter can be and that winter sunsets do blaze.
Hopefully this will be the last dance of a teasing tango between Old Man Winter and Mother Nature Spring . . . .
